Hi

Due to the safety implications of a carseat harness being incorrectly fitted they should never be removed. To replace them the carseat would need to come in for our engineers to do.

What country are you in I can advise of who to contact?

SOURCE: i need to put the shlder/lap strap back in

the center of the belt will be under the seat coming up through the holes, place the two clips on the strap followed by the chest clip, then the neck protector pads. Push the ends of the strap through the two top holes. Route it down over the metal but under the plastic (on the back side) and attach both ends to the metal adjuster underneath. The receiver clip, you just turn 90 degrees and push through desired hole until the end catches.

SOURCE: straps back on after washing

I am dealing with the same problem. After looking at product photos, it appears all harness straps go out from the back of the pad thru the same opening. This is not fun. I would not buy this again. :-(

Put straps back together washing

Sorry, It's not safe to wash the straps of a car seat. Do not submerge or put in the washing machine, spot clean only.
If you need new ones, contact the manufacturer, all car seats have the product information on the bottom back or side so you can call for help, get a manual, order new parts, etc.

How do you put the straps back on the safety 1st car seat model 22323 bvl

My model is a 22323-bvl and this is how to restrap: the strap goes from the front bottom up the back and through which ever hole your child is fitting into, then you put on the chest harness and then the locking clips at the crotch and then you feed the straps through the holes on the seat inside bottom through to the back and then put the metal clips back on and clip into place.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions just ask:)

Need to put car seat cove back on

This can be very tricky! Usually, you must put on the cover first, then guide the belt through the openings from the front. Turn the metal retainer clips sideways, and then anchor them on the back of the seat. I used to have one of these seats, sorry I do not still have the manual though. You can also try going to the company website for advice. Good luck.
