Theres 1 thing I can think of, if you put your key in the door 2 unlock it and hold the key 2 the unlock position for a few seconds all the doors should unlock, well the electronics inside the door panel that control that is probably bad or shorting out causing the doors to lock . You can also hold the key 2 the lock position for a few seconds and lock all the doors

2006 Pontiac g6 door locks gone crazy, locking and unlocking randomly.

I would take a close look at the connections in the power distribution box , also look at the door switches. most likely will find a loose connection coming into the power distribution box.

Switch doesn't work. Why do door locks operate at random?

normally vehicle door locks operates thru the side door of the driver. it has the main control for door locks and it should work normally but not randomly.

Randomly locking doors and sometimes continuous clicking leading to battery drainage.

If the locking seems continuous and almost glitchy I would buy new locks for both front doors. If it seems to be one timing lock and not acting glitchy then it most likely is a interference with a security alarm at that point I would disconnect the fuse for pwr locks as a quick fix.

While I'm driving, the car locks and unlocks at random. what's the problem?

there is a possible 2x ratio solution, have the doorlocks checked for a open circuit, ( break in the wiring) or check the contact points on the doors, open all doors and with a scrw driver lock each door individually and check whick door lock causes the doors to unlock again, that doorlock will then be the root cause problem.

solution 2 , the doorlock switch could be faulty

03 gmc 2500hd 6.0 gas. truck is going crazy

Check door switch connection and operation.
If the door switch is part of the door lock mechanism, within the door itself, then remove door panel, disconnect the mechanism's electrical connector and re-check that the interior light no longer comes on with that door ajar. If it doesn't, then you likely have a faulty door lock mechanism, which you will have to replace.
This faulty switch will also have the affect on your random central locking function.

This is not likely connected to the engine performance issue.

Randomly automatically locking doors

Seems like a problem with the Alarm. First disconnect the Alarm and if problem still persists then will have to trace step by step for a loose connection or relay malfunction.

Door locks activate at random with key off

First things first. Find out whats draining your battery. Systems with less than 12 volts can do very strange things.

Door locks open by themselves randomly

some possibilities

The power door locks may self-activate or cycle on some vehicles. This may be caused by a misadjusted front door lock linkage, excess solder in the front door power window switch, water infiltration of a potential open wire harness connector inside the front doors, wiring harness chafe on the door check strap, or a damaged Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) key fob.
