first you find the sound chip on *********** board.On your audio chip have a number like cmi98xx.Then find your audio chip number and find the drivers for win.7.If can't find the drivers for win.7 search the drivers for win.xp.Then download the drivers and extract it by using win rar.After that go to device manager and update you audio drivers by using extracted files.
Find the model number, (if you dont already know it, it should be next to the pci slots in your motherboard), and go to: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/
Under Support and Downloads section, click motherboards, and find your model number. Download all the drivers for it. Good luck :).
go to the support site for your motherboard, there you will get universal bus architecture device drive. Install this before you install the Audio/Sound driver.

To be able to help you on what audio driver to install, pls specify brand, model and version of your motherboard. If not printed on the MB itself, maybe you can check the info on POST or visually check the audio chipset on the mobo.
