If you haven't already, dump out gas and put fresh in it and try this, if it doesn't work you will have to clean the carb, take it apart and clean all jets ports etc and put back together and you should be Good to Blow Snow, pretty common problem with Small Engines that set half the season.

Toro 824 snowblower starts fine but won't keep running and new gas new plug as well cleaned the whole carb

Is there an adjustment screw on the carburetor if there is turn it out a little at a time. This sets the amount of gas going into the carb and lets it run the way it should. I hope you have one as this is the answer to many engine problems. When you say you cleaned the whole carb did you clean the fuel jet. It won't run if the jet is dirty.

Engine starts but won't continue to run. Choke doesn't stay closed after starting. will stay running only if I hold choke closed manually.

let it warm up with choke closed manually after it starts to stall with choke closed open it and dont let it stall u can learn to play with the choke a little to get it to run right GOOD LUCK!

Hi. I have a Toro CCR-2450 single-stage snowblower. It starts, and runs for a few minutes, then stalls. I can restart it but it keeps stalling after a few minutes of use. Carb & line have been...

WEll, your description sounds like fuel flow, supply external source for testing purposes. Check the fuel hose for VOLUME of fuel available, a screen may be at the outlet of the tank, these get covered and restrict volume of flow.

If unit continues running with external fuel supply, your machines supply is suspect. If the problem persists with external supply, your carb is suspect. Disassemble and inspect.
