If the machine detects an error in the fixing assembly, the DC controller PCB operates as follows: [1] It causes the FSRDRV* signal to go '1' to cut power to the fixing heater. [2] It causes the RLYDRV signal to go '0' to turn off RL1, and indicates 'E000' through 'E004' on the LCD in the control panel.
When 'E000' through 'E004' is indicated, the NVRAM on the DC controller PCB remembers an error in the fixing assembly even when the power switch is turned off and then on. After turning on the power, be sure to execute the following in service mode to remove the error information: #7 PRINTER > #4 PRINTER RESET > YES = (*).
This error means that the Fixing heater is not working. It has not reached operating temperature after a specified time. It has probably blown the heater element. You will need a trained technician to repair this. E000 errors will not clear until the fault has been rectified and then reset by a technician. This is to prevent any fire risk.
E000 is an error for fuser related problems.
the error history indicates any of the following error codes 4 times E001,E002,E003.
Action : clear the error
Execute #4 printer reset under #7 printer in service mode to clear the error, then off and back on the power.
You DO NOT WANT TO RESET THIS ERROR CODE !!!!!!!
there is a problem with the fuser, if you reset it most likely it will melt the rollers in the machine.
check the lamp (burn out), and thermofuse. replace
e000 is fuser temperature too low could be disconnected or the over heat senser has to be replaced and this code must be reset in service mode to allow copier to function.
EOOO is a thermistor-fuser error. Your machine will need a fuser, but on occasion a power surge can trip the error, E000 needs a code to reset it, I dont know if same but this is the code on a IR 330s
Press the userbutton then press "2" & "8" at the same time and then press userbutton again. You will now enter servicemode
