Looking for the front panel wiring diagram for a emachine T4510. The Power LED & the Power SW are disconnected! HDD LED was never unplugged! I need to know where they need to be!

If you look closely at the board there should be labels printed. The power switch plug can plug in either direction, but the LED must be the correct direction for it to work. No damage can be done by plugging the LED in backwards.

Inside I smell something burning and my power port is loose.

Your Notebook PC needs a new power supply or at least a new power port, or it may self-destruct really soon (like tonight). Unplug your PC and quickly backup your important data to a flash drive.

I wouldn't plug anything into the power port until it gets service, and unplug it overnight (or there could be a fire).

The owners' manual doesn't describe power supply replacement:

Here's a picture of the bottom of the system:

Need wiring diagram for emachine T2341

No wiring diagram! You should consult a good "how to build a computer" book or take it in for servicing. If its new in box then take it back to the store!

Emachines w2828 keeps shutting down reboot/Screen Freeze

I dont thing this is a virus problem but a heat problem. if you dont mind getting inside the box see how clean it is and put your hand on the power box case .. then unplug all the hardware except the mother board then turn the unit on, if it goes on then plug 1 hardware at a time.

Emachines W3052 Gets stuck on logo screen when starting up.

My computer does a similar thing, the issue with mine is the mother board which requires everything to be at a certain temperature. Let it run on the start screen for a couple minutes and hit the reset button. If it doesn't boot up you're going to have to get more involved with your PC. Turn off the power, unplug the cord from your power supply, open the case, look for the battery and the JP8 (CLRTC) jumper. Move the jumper from pins 1-2 over to 2-3, wait 30 seconds, and move the jumper back. Close the case, plug in the power cord, turn on your machine, and boot it up. If it still fails to boot check that all cables are securely attached (inside and out), check that the RAM is securely seated, and check the CMOS battery to be sure it is not dead. Beyond this you're looking at a component failure and should contact a repair tech.

P.S. if you feel up to it and can't wait for service, pull the hard drive out of the first computer and use it in a different computer. Be sure to unplug the hard drive from the second computer.

EMachine T1440 will no boot on

There is a battery inside the pc, remove it and replace it with a new one. Leaving it unplugged for that long taxes the battery too much. This should help and also plug everything in and reset the power switch on the back.

Emachine w2686 no display when boot up

Couple things to check. First, check with different monitor. Their monitors are usually build by KDS and I think there was a bad series out there. Also check for any beep codes through speakers on startup, this can tell you bad ram or bad video out. Also try unplugging computer and removing CMOS battery inside (watch like battery). Lastly, If non of the above, a bad processor will allow the computer to come on but no beep, no boot, no nothing but fans and green power light. Hope this helps a little.....
