That will tell you whether the bulb is accessible via the outside. If it's not covered, you will need to take the oven apart to some degree.
You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts and accessories by entering your full model number from the tag on the oven here.
If it was giiven to you for free...the previous owner knew something was wrong with it. I would just have it recycled through your township/borough, and buy a new one. Otherwise, you're paying to fix something you put no money into.
It looks like this one was not designed to be replaced by the consumer, so you would have to remove the oven from the wall, take the outer cover off, then replace the "holder assembly" which is a lamp holder, lamp, and lead wires.
It is HOLDER ASM part number WB36X102 drawing "INTERIOR PARTS (2)" reference number 1207.
To remove the oven from the wall, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have
two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.

Most of the time the magnetron is defective if the food is not heating up.
In some cases there is a defective low power transformer or other componenents associated with the magnetron.
I would suggest to check the owners manual under the warranty section. Sometimes the magnetron has 5 years warranty.
Good Luck.
it sounds as if your door switch is out of line. If this only happens when you close the door you may want to check they switches on the inside. one of them is either bad or you just may need to line it back up.
The manual states that it will beep once a minute after food cooks until you open the door or press stop.
Other than that, it sounds like an error condition.
