My sony kdl-46xbr4 Had a problem two thirds of the screen was discolored I open to fix and worked fine but I toughed the something by mistake with the frame and screen went dead. After I put everything back try to switch on give me a 5 blink code T-com board problem. Where do I start can I repair the board or do I have to replace board.

That is correct. Sony has extended their warranty on panels for this model until Oct. 31st 2012. Just give Sony a call or simply take your set to an authorized service center and you will get your set fixed for free.

This model of SONY TV uses a Samsung display panel, the problem you have is the panel went bad.

SONY was offering an extended warranty to change the panel free, please call SONY to check it out that if they still offer the free replacement.
