DZ7081 Diesel Digital Watch

I am very sorry to hear that news, just dreadful :>(

I was trying to find out who actually makes this watch, but there is no data. Normally you send to the maker and they repair it. My late wife bought me a Seiko, and although I live in Canada, I send it to the UK where it was purchased and where the service centre is for servicing. you could ask Nike who was contracted to produce it? My guess is Casio, because it has the Casio look to it.

One thought I have is that the battery that was put in it was the wrong type or it was inadvertently replaced with a battery out of another watch that came in for repair. I would have another battery put in it and see what happens. It is actually a collectible watch.

Yeah, it does not say it is waterproof, I have one they are "Water Resistant" to like 165' or some such nonsense. Anyway, if you paid for a warranty you can have it repaired by Diesel, this is the 1st watch I have ever purchased where they ask at the counter if you wish to purchase the manufacturers warranty. Mine was an extra $35 for the warranty. Yours may have been included in the price? If not your choice is deal with the fogging, repair it yourself, or pay a jeweler to repair it properly. You don't necessarily need jeweler's tools to repair it, but it is very easy to gouge the watch without them. New seals are available online. Personally I would take it to a jewelry store that offers watch repair. Your other option is to send it to Diesel, but you'll be paying for shipping/handling plus repair costs without warranty.

The only place that is likely to have a replacement or be able to find you one is a watch repair shop, since such small parts are generally only found on watches.

Hi Junell ,you can't pulled out the crown,because it is threaded.First unthreaded it before you pull,first pull is for DAY/DATE adjustment.Second or full pull is for Hour / Minute setting,that's all.Feel free to ask and post a message,so i can assist..

I was given two different Diesel instruction books with my dz-7069 and neither covers the watch in question. If anyone can tell me how to set the time on it I'd be most grateful.
