What is Model No.? The model showing the brake assembly is inside the transaxle. If your park brake is adjusted to 1 1/2" and don't hold, the brake parts in the transaxle need replace. I haven't found a diagram and a place to buy these parts. You just replace the transaxle. Sorry

SOORY, SORRY. Never looked at the transaxle, except adjust park brake. Go to brake housing remove the 2 bolts and install new pads. Go to www,searspartdirect.com And get parts. Good Luck.

Were is the safety switch for the pto on craftsman riding lawn mower

well there's three, there's the seat switch which can be found under the seat of course, there's the reverse switch which will not let you cut in reverse (just unplug it to be able to cut in reverse it you wanted but be careful of the little ones) which is usually near the gear shifter and then there's the break switch located under the mower (look along the break arm just follow the break under the mower and then you'll see a bracket that's flat and when the breaks pushed down the flat piece hit the button switch... why are you concerned? did it stop working here's a tip that most shops wont tell you just replace the main pto button first its cheap and 60% of the time its the main cause of the pto not working, but they wont hesitate to tell you that you need a 400.00 or so new pto. hope this helps

How to turn park break on. I have a troybilt rzt mustang

If it is the same model I just purchased, to engage the parking break you simply push both handles out to the side. That's the only way I know to engage it.

Adjust clutch pto

normally they work by spring lock system, follow the bar under the hood or engine and check if any broken or missing spring or parts often bended by running over things

My lawn mower will not move.

Clayton I know this sounds stupid but when you sit on your seat make sure your safety switch is actually being pushed down because if it runs while brake is on the switch doesn't need to be pushed if it shuts off soons as you let off the brake sounds like it's not being pushed in or needs to be replaced seen it many times.

The blades don't engage when i push the pto switch on dash

Sounds like you have a loose or broken wire. It may have an inline fuse that blew. I would start at the switch and work my way down checking the wires for breaks or disconnections. If nothing, it may be your brake switch. If your brake switch is defective or not hooked up, your mower wont register you have pressed the brake lever and wont allow you to activate the mower deck as a safety measure.

L130 mower shuts down when getting off seat with parking break set and PTO disengaged. I know it's safety lock circuit problem, but I don't know how it's wired

you can bypass the seat switch and see if the switch itself is bad, I do not know on a JD but on a Cub Cadet the RMC controls the safety switches, which is a small black box with a connect plugged into it. Hope this helped Tim

Craftsman hydrostatic strains but won't go forward or reverse

Hi,
There is a brake lever attached to your transaxle, that when activated, pushes dowel pins which serve as brake pistons, against a brake pad which presses against a disk from your transaxle...whew. Much like a disk break on your car.
The pistons, or dowel pins may be sticking, causing you to be "riding your brake". A little disassembly and some good ole WD-40 might loosen up the bind.
Good luck!
