Problem with Bosch SHX4AP05UC Dishwasher
I have this model Dishwasher, only a few months old. My girl was washing glassware, and there was a candle (or lots of wax) in one of them. It melted apparently, and now there is an issue with the water drainage.
I bought a 25 ft auger with the intent of pushing it through the main pipe to the basement (not the slim pipe that came with the unit). After looking at the owner's manual, I think I should also disassemble and check the filter system from the bottom of the dishwasher. Can anyone proffer any ideas on how to completely remove wax from the assembly/drainage tube/drainage pipe? My thought on the auger is I will still have chunks of wax in the system, somewhere. I considered running very hot, or boiling, water down the pvc pipe to the basement, but i don't know if that's a good idea. I can't find a 'super-hot' setting on the dishwasher to try to flush the wax. Anyway, thank you for reading if you got this far.. :) Anything you can offer would be greatly appreciated for tomorrow.
Hello Craig, You can use Affersh dishwasher cleaner (link here) http://www.affresh.com/our_products/affresh_dishwasher_disposal_cleaner and to achive "Super hot" wash you can reset your hot water heater to a super high setting and the run a few cycles of the dishwasher....once done be sure to reset the hot water heater to the usual setting...also a very effective cleaner in the dishwasher is white vinegar ,try that along with setting the water heater higher

Why is my Bosch dishwasher beeping and not starting?
Bosch dishwashers are designed to beep when there is an error. A beep means that your drain is not clogged, and the rest of the parts are functioning as they should. Beeping in the middle of the cycle points to the problem with the control board itself. Find the circuit breaker and turn it off for 60 seconds.
To turn the volume down of the signal or to turn it off entirely is as follows...
Hope that solves your incessant beeping problem. Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck. Please take a moment to rate the info provided here as well as a brief testimony is appreciated.
I think can answer your question..."How do you disable the cycle completion signal/beep on the Bosch SHU9915UC dishwasher?"
Follow these steps...
**How to Operate the Cycle Completion Signal**
1. Open door, hold down program button (see Beeper Table below) and simultaneously turn the unit "ON".
MODEL Program BUTTON
SHU 9950 Delay Start Hours **SHU 9910-9920 Delicate/Econo** should be yours SHU 8800/8810 Quick Wash SHV 6800 Delay Start Hours SHV 4800 Delicate/Econo SHV 4300 Delicate/Econo
2. Release program button. a. For SHV 6803 and SHU9950 models: The display will blink with a code of "0", "1" or "2". You are in program mode.
• If the display blinks with a "0", you will hear no signal (indicates OFF).
• If the display blinks with a "1", you will hear a LOW volume signal.
• If the display blinks with a "2", you will hear a HIGHER volume signal.
b. For all other models with the beeper function:
• If the machine beeps, then the Cycle Completion Signal has been enabled.
• When you push the button again and it does not beep, it means that the Cycle Completion Signal has been disabled.
3. To change the program, press the program button until the desired setting is selected.
4. Turn the Dishwasher off to take it out of program mode.
* At the end of a wash cycle, the beeper will sound off two times, and again every 15 minutes until the dishwasher is turned off.
Hope this answers your question and provides you with what you needed.
Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck.
Please take a moment to rate the solution provided and a short testimony if you feel it's warranted, but also let me know if you require further assistance.
This doesn't add up to what other owners say. Have yo contacted Bosch? Also, your output line may be entering your drain system in the wrong place causing the noise for that issue. Good luck. I am looking at the same machine for purchase......
