You should use two extremely small flat head screw drivers to remove links on Invicta polyurethane watch bands. The smaller pens on the polyurethane watch bands have a notched cap (tiny screws) on each end .You must use one screw driver to hold the pen cap (screw) steady and the other screw driver to turn the cap (screw) counter clockwise. You only have to remove one notched cap (screw). These caps (screws) are very small and you should be careful not to lose them. Once you removed the cap (screws) you can use a small screw driver or paper clip to push the pens through the links. You should repeat this til you remove the desired links.

SOURCE: How do you remove the links from an invicta

it's not much harder then normal push pins, just a little trick..push the pin out, doesn't matter which way. You will probably have to pull it out with pliers once you get it started.

once that pin is out, the band still won't come apart. There is another pin, a tube actually that the other pin went thru. it connects the center links. to remove it, you have to first remove the outer links. to do this you push them inwards, toward where your wrist would be if you were wearing it. (the links are actually two pieces-the center 'snake-skin' piece, and the outer bars. the outer bars are connected behind the center piece) the outer bars are what you push inward, they will pop out once the first pin is out.

Now you will just have the center piece connected to the adjacent center piece. That second pin (the tube) will just about fall out if you turn the band on its side. Now the bracelet will come apart.

To put back together, just line up the to center pieces, slide in the tube, then put the outer links in from behind the center piece (this actually locks the tube in place) then put in the long pin.

Ideally it will slide in halfway easily, then carefully tack it in fully. if it doesn't get in halfway jiggle the links and tap lightly. Don't use too much force until it's past 2/3 inserted or you will bend the pin.

on the small links, pop out the pin, either way, doesn't matter, then remove the bar sections (outer ingot looking part of link) by pushing the link inward toward where your wrist would be. The center scale looking piece will remain.

Then remove the sleeve which is slightly bigger in diameter than the pin, which is still connecting the center scale piece. I'll upload pix if anyone needs.

to put back together just reverse it. match up the two connecting center scale pieces, then insert the sleeve into them to connect them, then pop the ingot piece in from the center (where your wrist would be) then carefully slide in the pin, it should go halfway before you feel resistance, then carefully drive it home.

I think it will work with the bigger pieces as well, but didn't try, didn't need to remove any.

SOURCE: How do I remove pins to size an Invicta Sea Spider

mcdevito75 here, Aren"t the spring bars (pins) built into Invictas Strap?? Look on the back of the Strap real close to where ot attches to the watch, see a little tab you can move with your fimger, this tab should compress the spring bar (pin) and allow you to remove the strap.

Adjust bracelet on sea spider?

Thank you for contacting FIxYa.
I suggest you take your watch to a reputable local jeweler for sizing. Expect to pay a nominal fee (around $5) for this service. Do not attempt to size your own watch! You may damage or scratch the watch and bracelet. The liability is yours.
If you still decide to do, follow instructions given here:
http://www.webwatches.co.uk/how_to.htm
Best wishes.
