Hi, I recently got a Canon PowerShot SD750, but I didn´t bring the cd with the drivers, I bought it in California, Where can I get the drivers? I live in Cancún México. Can I download from internet? [email protected]
Hi
If you have Windows XP, you don't need any drivers it's already in the Windows operating system for you; just connect the camera to the computer via USB and it should work just fine. If you have a different operating system you can download them directly from Canons website.
I don't post links sorry, but go to usa.canon com, then click on the cameras and search for your SD750, then click on 'drivers and downloads', you will find older Windows drivers as well as Mac.
And as for "devilived" yes, you need a driver to connect a camera to a computer to download pictures. A driver is a piece of software that tells Windows how to talk to a piece of hardware you are connecting to the computer. XP has more drivers already installed in the OS than previous versions of Windows... and Vista has more driver problems than most other previous versions of Windows.
Good luck with your camera Flota61.
