Have nikon coolpix 5400 and no cd to load into computer to get pictures out of camera,, how do i get a copy of the cd or a download of the info i need so i can unload the pictures on my camera???

Nikon 5400 doesnt not need a separate card reader. A cable will we provided along with the camera when you buy it. Just connected the cam and the PC using the cable, wait for few seconds and switch on the camera. You are ready to move the pictures. An icon of your cam will be displayed in windows explorer (MY Computer page). Just browse through it.

There are also plenty of photo catalog software packages out there, some free, some not, that can transfer and catalog your pictures so you can quickly find pictures from Susie's birthday party, for example. Just do a google search for "photo catalog software". Nikon Transfer and Nikon ViewNX will perform those functions.

take the camera into a computers store they should have a cord if not they can order. or try ebay .. you shoukdnt need the cd for the pictures to load on the pc. i have a nikon and have never used the cd . my pc just picks up the camera when its hooked up..
