Hello i have a toshiba e-studio 162d and it is saying call for maintenance. I want to know how to enter the service mode to re set the drum counter. I usually work on Xerox printers.

Turn ON the power while pressing the [Clear/Stop] button. On the Service Mode screen displayed after
starting up, press the up key, left key, bottom key, and then right key, and then press [START]. To enter
the desired mode, select the mode using the up or down key, then press [OK].
You can use the Toshiba e-studio 160/200 service manual for this machine, Enter 08 Service mode and: check these addresses 340 Drum counter end setting. Drum Life:160 and 200 are 27,000 copies. 250 is 33,000 copies. If set to 0:Nothing displays. 673 Resetting drum related counters (08/355 and 08/401) works only if 08/869 is set to 1=SRU, if set to 0 is=CRU. SRU: Service Replaceable Unit. CRU: Customer Replaceable Unit.
The drum counter reaches 25000 copies , it's time to change the drum and reset counter .
Enter the reset mode by pressing : # - * - c - * .
then press : 20 - start -01- start - CA - CA .

In the manual it says to "Turn on power while holding down the status button on the network expansion kit. Continue to hold down the status button until a beep sounds." It looks like the default password was TOSHIBA which took me forever to find. The user name should just be admin.
Hello sir; H2 code require reset procedure as follow;
1, press "#", "interupt", "c", "interupt" these 4 keys.
2, enter 14 then press start.
3, turn power off and back on .
switch off...hold down 0 + 8 keys,
switch on holding keys for 5-10 secs then let go.
service mode...
punch in 251 then print key should show pm set figure,punch in say / add 20,000 on to figure then press set in the display.
switch off then on should have cancelled prevent maintenance.
