Clsc 12s cerwin vega power light comes on but have to turn music load just to get it to kick on then on top of that it does not have the base it use to have at all i can turn it all the way up and it dont want to boom like its not getting full power something defiantly wrong
SOURCE: I have a cerwin vega subwoofer that keeps blowing the fuse
Take a look at the Voltage selector switch (if one is existing). It may be switched at the wrong position. In that case, I hope that the power supply is not burned out (if it is set at the wrong position).

You need to fill in (and ponder) the details of how it receives its audio from the unnamed source. Bass Management settings in a receiver control that. Then there are usually test tones to verify all is well. Crack the manuals open and read them. A simple test of just the subwoofer would be to feed a CD player program signal directly to its Line Level input. If its amp is working you'll hear only the low bass. If it works you need to look back at the receiver (source) settings.
