Did you put your own ring tone on there? If so...it is not loud enough. I know this from previous experience. When you record one and drag into the mini sd card you have to do it very loud. You can use the recorder that comes with that phone and record one and then select it as the tone but make sure you get it close to the mike.
There is no volume code.sometimes it may be the damage of speaker or internal IC.So you have better to send it to a nokia service center.they can fix ths problem.
Hi.This problem may occur when the file is compressed or converted.Like if you compress a file from 20MB to 5MB, its quality gets degraded n ultimately sounds bad.
Other remedy may be to try using the same file in some other format.And just see the difference.
