Hello,
There is a Wireless switch on your model that turns the wifi on/off. Its located near the headphone jacks.Turn the switch on and you will be able to connect to your network.
It is on the front of my laptop and it has a radar key. When I press the fn key and the wifikey together it still has an amber light and not a blue light. What can I do
which Windows version are you running? Ill send you the proper instructions on what you need to do.
It is windows 7home premium.

First you update the BIOS buy running this installing thishttp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48001-48...
Once the system has rebooted you will have to update the wirless drivers by installing thishttp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp37501-38... You should be able to get a wireless connection now,
However, this is a common Hardware issue with you laptop, however this usually fixes the issue. If not you will have to contact HP and tell them about your issue. The will replace the defected part for free. Let me know!
Forgot that step 3 will be to install this.http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp34501-35...
I need to find instructions for my laptop because I am using my desktop and I am connected to a wireless router
