No tv card driver

The term "multimedia driver" encompasses a wide range of drivers, including those for sound cards, graphics cardsmag-glass_10x10.gif, TV tuners, video capture cards, and modems. This may seem a bit overwhelming, but fortunately the driver installation process for each of these cards is standard on most operating systems.
  1. Insert the driver CD that was included with your multimedia card. The CD auto-play feature will begin the installation procedure. If you do not have a driver CD, proceed to step 2. Otherwise, proceed to step 4.
  2. Step 2 Download the current drivers for your multimedia card from the manufacturer's website (examples: Nvidiamag-glass_10x10.gif homepage, ATI homepage, Sound Blaster homepage). Save the driver to your desktop for easy access. The driver download page can commonly be found in the support section of the website.
  3. Step 3 Double-click the driver installation file to begin the installation process.
  4. Step 4 Read the license agreement and select "OK" to proceed. This will begin the installation process.
  5. Step 5 Restart your computer once the driver installation is complete. Not every driver requires a restart. You will be prompted by the program to restart, if it is necessary.

Computer wont read any device installed

if you have more than 1 audio card you have to tell your computer which parts of the various cards to use for different purposes.

you need to go into control panel and check your sound and multimedia settings, you should then be able to "steer" your computer into using the correct devices

Vaio pc problems

Hi, There is a problem with the tv tuner card in the Computer. Go to Control Panel, double click on System, (if you don't see system, in the top left pane of that window, click switch to classic view). In the dialog box that appears, click on the hardware tab, then click on device manager. In this window, see if there is any yellow question mark icon beside the tv tuner device. If there is, then you will need to reinstall the software driver that came with it or you can download it from the internet. If there is no yellow question mark, then just double-click on the device and check the device status to make sure it says "this device is working properly". If it doesn't say this, then there is a problem with the device. You can try to reinstall the driver but there is a big possibility that the tv tuner card might need replace. Please let me know what happens. Regards, Lolita
