Start, stop, 8,9,and 0 buttons do not work on microwave oven touch pad

From your question, I suspect the fault is from the control board of the microwave. This is why some buttons on the the touch-pad are not working.
Have the control board replaced and the buttons that refuse to work will start working again.

Hello, nice to receive reply from you. Click the link below to get an estimate cost for the touch-pad. It's not as expensive as that of LG. LG parts are more expensive. I would suggest you give it to a local repairman if you still want to repair the microwave.

Ours did the same after an electric spike 0 and 2 not working. The only way to get it working is replace the key pad. Probably cost the same as a new one if you take it to a dealer. I tried to reset but with no luck.

I contacted LG authorized service and told that parts and labor would cost $230 and I need to decide whether to get a new one or fix it. Before anything, try to get estimation how much the touch pad part would cost. For LG model I have the entire door needs to replaced and quote I had $130.
