This can be due to failure of the loading motor mechanism . Since you are hearing the clicking sound , it is possible that the motor is working to the command from the processor but there is failure in the mechanical drive., This can be due to pulley slipping , gear failure or belt failure.
Unless the camera is opened to remove the covers and get access to the mechanism , the exact fault cannot be confirmed.

1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check door switch/lock unit. Make sue it is mounted correctly, and not loose.
3. Check the wire harness connections to the door switch/lock unit and Central Control Unit (CCU).

If the door lock unit is mounted correctly, and the wires that link the device to the main control module, and connected well, this will lead to a failed lock mechanism. replace the door lock mechanism, in this case.
