Itouch player not responding

I had the same problem with a 30gig classic.
The songs would play fine on my wife's itouch.
I tried every suggestion I could find No luck.
I installed media monkey and use it to load my classic EVERY SONG PLAYS FINE. Using the same songs in iTunes they stopped playing completely .I didn't have this problem using 7.5 iTunes but the iTouch needs the newer version

the storm could have temporarily affected your wifi at home. wait untill another day then try again to see if the problem clears up.

when you go to your music file and play a selected song. you will see two arrows in a circular formation and antoher set of arrows intersecting one another (shuffle). change the colour so both sets of arrows are grey by touching them.

Did end up fixing this by doing a reset of the settings on the iTouch. Working fine now.

Talked to both Apple and Logitech, and uploaded newest firmware ( had assumed since this was a recent purchase it had same), presto, it works.

First you need to restart your itouch.
Then, plug it in to your computer and wait for iTunes to pop up.
Select a few songs from your library or some movies that you have and drag them to your iPod.
What I did was, dragged some movies on my itouch to the tv shows folder as soon as i did this everything popped back on to my screen

Itouch always ask folder to store music when down loaded from wifi you should have clicked yes to over write.So old songs have been over writed . Always sycne before downloading new songs or choose new folder for it.
