To change your phone number on your Yahoomail account, you can follow the steps below:

1.Sign-in to your Yahoomail account information page through the link http://edit.yahoo.com/config/eval_profile

2.Go to "Sign-In and Security" and then, go to "Update Password-Reset Info".

3.Locate "Phone Number" section and edit the current number to the one you desire.

4.Click "Save" and "Done"

You should have a back up account or nubmer that your password is sent to if you click on the forgot password link

Go to http://edit.yahoo.com/config/eval_profile, and in contact option edit it and add a phone number.
