Please follow the below step for delete your yahoo account.

Step 1: Log on to your yahoo email account. Click the "Help" button and wait for another browser window to appear. Under "Top Questions," select the "How do i close my yahoo account?"

Step 2: Click the "Account Termination" link, and then log in once again if you are prompted to do so. Read the "Termination Agreement" page, and then type your password in the box provided to confirm your action.

Step 3: Enter the "Code" shown in the box, and then select "Yes, terminate this account." If you want to cancel your action, simply select "No," or navigate away from the page.

f your email accoubt had been closed by your provider than u have to call them up and know as to why the account was deactivated.
May be u had not used the email account for more than 3 months because if you dont touch ur email account for more than 3 months the account will deactivated. however some provider gives u the option to reactivate it like Yahoo.
or else if they also fail to help u and than I would suggest create a new email account.
