How to take board out to replace STK392-110 Convrgence ICs, 2.2 ohm 2watt resistors for R7011, R7012, R7013, R7014, R7015, and R7016
This requires soldering and de-soldering skills and frankly it is an Electronic Technician's JOB.
Easiest to take the board out, you can identify it by the large heatsink and 2 large ICs mounted on it and labeled stk392-110. take your board to an electronic repair shop and have them do it. The tv however will probably need readjustments that an experienced tech. would be best suited to complete. I would suggest that you spend a little extra and have a repair shop do it, it will be done correctly , using correct components, and you get a warranty.
Thank you for your response...I figured out how to get the board out with no problems and took it to a professional. My intentions were to get the board out and get it to a tech because I didn't want to haul the big Tv around. Thanks again
I am very sorry, my personal opinion did satisfy your request.
Most TV repair shops would not take and repair just the PCB due safety and liability.
Just be careful when touching components and disconnecting cables, there are 1000s Volts inside the TV.
Again there is high voltage inside the TV and that's why I recommend A TV repair man.
Good luck on your project

You are welcome, we will do board repair as requested by customer, we will not however warranty the repairs unless we do the complete repair, we are past the year 2010, most people are well aware of shock hazards found in electronic equipment, just be aware that to open and service electronic equipment is best left to professional technicians

When I turn the TV on theres a click red light goes on theres a click about a second later and tvc turns off. I looked it up saw some other problems as mine and it suggests I replace the STK-392-110 and resistors..if I want to do this myself how do I take out the board to replace.
Thanks for your NOT solution.....I understand what needs to be done and that's not what I asked. You were absolutely no help to me what so ever!!!
