Washing machine whirlpool washing machine front loader light on saying clean pump wont finish cycle where is the pump

Make sure the filter is cleaned prperly and there is nothing jammed in the pump as it will not operate properly

you need to clean the filer on the front of the machine , or check the pump for a faulty impeller , a good. Clean of all the draining system would be a great start,

Error code 5d/Sd means suds have been detected. To solve this problem you have to take the bottom front panel apart and then clean the drain filter pump assembly completely, make sure the washer is unplugged before working on it. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Remove the bottom panel. The tech sheet with fault codes and diagnostics is behind the motor control unit,white box to left. Clean out the pump filter and housing, maybe that will help

Turn the power off and leave for 5-10 minutes then turn on. This should release the door lock the problem could be the pump drain filter is blocked clean this and it should resolve future problems.

There should be two screws under the front lower panel. Remove the two screws and remove the lower panel. You should be able to access the pump from here.
Inscrew the cover on the front of the pump and clean.

My samsung front loader do wont open , cleaned the pump nothing there , What next ?

The pump is at the lower left of the front of the machine covered by a white plate. Use a bowl to catch any remaining water when opening the screw thread inside and then clean and replace. If it is truely beyond repair then a new filter pump can be bought from ebay for £3 or thereabouts.

I have just drained mine manually in this way and am going to run it empty with soda crystals to glean a few more days use whilst the new pump arrives.

Remove drain hose from where it connects to the plumbing under the sink/tub. Inspect the spigot. If clogged, clean. If clean, then tilt machine back and remove drum to pump hose from pump. Check hose and also drain pump. Clear any obstructions.
