This sounds like a driver problem. You probably have an install program for an earlier operating system. I suggest you go to the Technika web site and go to Support then Downloads. Identify your webcam and download the driver for your operating system. For example, the web cam may have worked just fine on a PC running Windows XP, but now you have a new Windows 7 pc. You must go get the Win7 driver for your USB Technika web cam
1. You possibly will need to go to the manufacturers web site and download the the latest drivers for your Lifecam which may not be backward compatible with your operating system (Windows). 2. If you are running Windows 7 you may want to run the "compatibility wizard" to see if your camera's software will run in another Windows operating system mode Ex. Windows 98 or XP \ I hope this helps. Have a great day
Go to your computer's manufacturer's website or the web-cam manufacturer's website and search for the web-cam drivers for your computer model and operating system. Download the proper driver setup and run it, this will install the software for you to use the web-cam.

go to logitech web site and look for full driver program for your model of webcam. ...download it and install. ...that should put in every file you will need to run your cam....if you installed the drivers from a disk that came with your cam. then uninstall those drivers first then reinstall drivers from logitech site. ..you might have just gotten a bsd install and need to reinstall drivers again. ...but not from the disk. ...download from logitech site
Here is the link to the software for your web cam. All you have to do is click on which operating system you are using, then click save the file and save it to your desktop so you know where it is. Then just run the software before you plug in the web cam. During the install it will tell you when the program wants you to plug in the camera.
