Check and replace its Laser Pickup unit. It is faulty. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Keeps showing loading disc when blank disc is inserted

I am having the same problem. I can view an external video feed through the Centrios unit on a TV monitor, but as soon as I load a recordable disc, DVD-R type, I lose the video and the LED on the unit never moves beyond loading.

Dvd player says no disc when there is a disc in

Hi

Please check weather you have inserted the disc ,whose format is supported by your KOSS player.

If the formatt is not been supported /regonised by the player,It shows as NO DISC only.

check with some other disc which you previously played. If it plays the disc which you using has the problem.

Thanx

When i insert a dvd it loads then shows wrong disc. Does this mean the laser needs to be cleaned?

hello,

when your player shows wrong disc, it is either the laser is weak or dirty.

if it is weak, it needs replacement.

if it is dirty, its just cleaning that is needed.

take care

Opens and closes repeatedly

hello,

The most common reason for the player opening and closing itself is a bad drive. The following website sells the drives and does installs:

store.richspsxparts.com/wiiredvddr

This drive should fix any reading issues you are having with your player, or issues inserting your games or ejecting them (or lack thereof). This is the entire DVD drive assembly mechanism replacement for your player including a new laser. If your discs are not ejecting, or you cannot insert a disc -- or you can insert a disc but it will not load, this is what you need to get your player going again!
Hope this helps...

Shows not disc and will not load

Open it up and clean the lens on the pick-up. Failing that you need a new laser, if the clean doesn't work then scrap it and replace with new.

Cheers

No valid disc

Hi, Try cleaning the lens. A CD cleaner for PC CD/DVD will also work with DVD players. If problem is not corrected, you may need to seek the services of a qualified professional. Good luck and kind regards.
