(For Kyocera Oystr)
Menu / Settings / Sounds / (choose topic) / (adjust up or down with button on side of phone) / save.

Ringtone volume, earpiece volume, key volume, speakerphone volume, etc.,
can ALL be found and set in the settings/sounds menu, and adjusted to your liking.

Heres the user guide, click on the link below, doesn't look like there's a mic volume level adjustment, is it the same using hands free?

SOURCE: NEC ELECTRA ELITE - VOLUME CONTROL FOR OUTGOING CALLS

we also have possibly the same problem on nec electra elite 1pk with dterm80 phones and vmp voice mail. the tech who installed it said the volume was already cranked up in the system. i have all the software from the tech but still researching before i connect and access the system.
same problem at previous location.
odder still, our previous phone system of different brand at two other locations had the same problem and bell canada (provides the lines) and other techs could not fix it.
are we just unlucky getting quiet phone lines or is there such a thing?

While making incoming or outgoing calls the volume of the phone needs to be increased. Please advise.

It would help to know the model. It could be because the headset may have some dust clogging the speaker. Try using a condensed air canister from about 5 inches, and then see if volume level has improved.

Incoming callers cannot hear me very well

Since there is no volume adjustment for outgoing volume with the Navigator key, that's possible.

Go find another handset from another system phone and test it, or just move to another phone and see if they can hear you better.
You could have a bad handset, bad cord (unlikely), bad phone, or bad circuit for that line or call.

Almost al of these items are repairable or replacable.
