After a power outage all appliances came back on except the GE microwave/convection over the counter model. None of the "buttons" activate it. Any ideas to fix?

Have you checked the breakers, sometimes a power failure will trip some breakers

Ge Cafe Over the Range Microwave touch pad stopped making beeping sounds

If the touchpad on your GE Cafe over-the-range microwave has stopped making beeping sounds, there could be a few potential causes. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the volume settings: It's possible that the volume settings on your microwave have been accidentally turned off or lowered. Look for a "Volume" or "Sound" button on your microwave and adjust the settings as needed.
  2. Check for a mute function: Some GE microwaves have a "Mute" button that allows you to silence the beeps temporarily. Make sure this feature hasn't been activated.
  3. Power cycle the microwave: Turn off the power to your microwave for a few minutes, then turn it back on. This can sometimes reset the touchpad and restore functionality.
  4. Check for error codes: If there's a problem with the microwave, it may display an error code on the control panel. Look in your user manual or search online for information on what the code means and how to resolve it.
  5. Call for service: If none of these steps work, there may be a problem with the touchpad itself. Contact GE customer service or a professional appliance repair technician for assistance.

Looks like my GE Advantium microwave just shorted. Working fine, I hit the MicroExpress option and all power lost. Can I hit a reset button?

That is very unfortunate and I don't believe it is anything to do with what you did, just bad luck.

Dead appliance, power on wall outlet.

YOUR SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT!

Attempt this only if you are competent.

If your appliance has absolutely no functions at all, remove it from the mains supply, remove the case and see where the mains lead goes in to the appliance and follow the cable until you find the main fuse.
ONLY USE THE SAME TYPE AND RATING OF FUSE TO REPLACE IT.
The usual cause of this fuse failure is the door switches are contaminated or sticking. Check the door switches before putting power back on to the appliance.
Hope this helps.

I had power outage and now all the number on the timer and thermometar are a mess

The microprocessor has been scrambled due to power surge when it came back on. There is only possible thing you can try, unplug the oven for 30 minutes and plug it back in, this might reset the ic, if not you will need appliance repairman to assess the situation.

My microwave/convection oven (a GE unit model JES1290SK) started beeping every few seconds and displaying F6 on the control panel. I unplugged it and waited several minutes and when plugged in it displays...

The technical sheets in my files do not list F6 on the error code chart for GE microwaves.

Generally, these are the error codes possible on GE microwaves:

F1 open thermal sensor (convection models)
F2 shorted thermal sensor (convection models)
F3 key panel shorted for more than 60 seconds
F4 open humidity sensor
F5 shorted humidity sensor

There should be a "mini-manual" (technical sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, & testing.

Gibberish on the Front Screen

Try unplugging the unit for 30 seconds then plug it back in. The power outage may have been erratic and the MW did not reset properly.
