I bought a new trac fone, and am trying to transfer things from my old phone. When I turn on the new phone there is a lock on it. I can't find the way to put in the SIM card number. I can't unlock the phone. I tried pushing the lock, and the space bar. I think it's the space bar. The lock is on the same key. One of the messages states the sim card is invalid. I did not put in a sim card number, only a serial number. How do I unlock it.
the galaxy tab will be locked to the provider you got it from, which is why your sim isnt being recognised. You will need to unlock the tab to allow it to accept any sim. To get it unlocked you need to request an unlock code from Telstra
if you are using a sim card from a prepaid phone just bought, and then add it to another att branded phone, it will not work. if you use the sim card in the new prepaid phone, it will work. att locks the sims from working in other phones for 3 months from the factory. i did the same thing with a prepaid phone and a Q9, put the sim in the q9 and it said, no service. put the sim in the prepaid phone, it worked fine. my suggestion is to talk nice ot the att store employee, and they will give you a new sim.
let me know if your phone is doing something different.
Try replacing you sim and if you still get the same error then it is a device issue. You will need to contact your service provider for replacement options!
ok so on sd cards there's a slider on the side of it. this has an arrow (usually pointing down) that says lock next to it. make sure the slider isn't on the side that the arrow points to.
hope this helps ;-)
If your card is locked, there is a little swith on it. Push it to the unlock position. If it is your camera, I have never heard of such a thing. Call Canon.
SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
