Lost pin code

To get your MXit Pin Number SMS 'pin' to 34006 from the cell/mobile number you initially registered when you register for the MXit service. Once you've sent the sms with the message 'pin' to 34006 you will receive a response with your MXit pin number.
There is no other way to get your MXit pin number at the moment. So, unless you are using the phone number you originally registered for the mxit service you're screwed.

Contact your service provider for PUK-code.
This is your solution! Please remember to vote!

1. You should call the Customer Care Operator of your netwok!

2. Tell him your phone number, and ask for the 'Network Key' / 'PUK Code'.

3. Now, insert the key / code, and press OK.

4. You may be asked to set new 'PIN' / 'Security' code.

5. Set new code, and try to remember it!

default security code is the last 4 digits of your telephone number.

call your phone service provider they will give you the code for free.

thats your only chance in getting the code.

if you ca't get the code then you can get a new simcard and the phone will work normally.

puk code is asked when you enter pin code wrong 3 times. entering puk code wrong too many times will make the sim card useless.

have u locked the phone or is it asking for a pin ..... if it is pin then u will have to enter wrong pin 3 times until PUK code appears and then call ur service provider for the PUK code . Do not enter the PUK code wrongly other wise the sim would be permanently damaged .....

What kind of code is it asking for?

If it ask for a PIN code then it means it's asking for the password/code you have entered on your SIM card. If it asks for Security code then that means it's the password/code for the phone.

Entering three invalid PIN codes on your phone then your PIN may be locked and you can only unlcok it by entering the PUK code on your SIM. PUK code is available on the sim card pack. Once it's ented, you have the option of changing your PIN code. Just be sure to remember your PIN code so the same incident won't happen again. If it ask for security code, enter the code you have for the phone but if you don't remember setting a security code, then you may try the default security code of Sony Ericsson phones which is 00000.
