The hanset keeps flashing and have also changed the recharagble batteries.

Thermostats aren't expensive. You can get them an any home improvement store or even on line.

It is highly likely that your battery pack needs replacing. If you have had it for more than a year and use it often then it is quite possible. You can buy a new one at radio shack online or search for one similar on ebay. Price is about 10 pounds though.



If you have more than one of these phones it may be worth while buying more than one as it will save you postage and might get you a discount.

Here is the procedures on how to reset the phone:
1. Disconnect Battery from handset(s)
2. Disconnect Phone Cord from wall jack
3. Disconnect Phone cord from base unit
4. Disconnect AC adapter from wall outlet
5. Allow to sit for 30 min
6. Reconnect Phone Cord to base
7. Reconnect Phone cord to wall jack
8. Reconnect AC Adapter to wall outlet
9. Reconnect Battery to hanset until you click or feel the plug snap into place
10. Re-Register Handset by placing on main base in most instances

Standby light blinking is a fault indication in Sony sets. You just count the exact number of blinks at one time, after switching on and off the set by its front panel power control switch, NOT BY THE REMOTE CONTROL HANSET. Just inform me the exact number of blinks occur there, after counting it at least four times. It will help me to reach the faulty stage, of sometimes to the exact fault location also. OK.

Please take out the battery immediately and keep aside do not put back the batery until wee have done a full drying of the set.
Open the set and use a good hair dryer to carrefully dry the board without damaging the display. do not over heat but just warming to dispere the moisture. Repeat process and keep aside for some time. Use a soldering iron to heat or touch up soldering to dispere trapped moisture.
Only after fe hourrs must you try to put back the battery or you will end you damaging the output stage.
so do this immediately

Disconnect your phone from the wall and charger....Take out the Batteries and wait 2 secs...Replace batteries and recconnect phone ..see if this problem is still happening.

I have two older (2002) model cordless Uniden phones that require the handsets to return to their original factory bases. If they have rested on another Uniden base, even of the same model, there is no dialup tone. Replace to the original base and you should be back in service.

go to your nearest service centre and ask them to flash the hanset's software, by this your problems will be solved.
