Help my maytag washer is not working a code 2e coming up

The code is actually "2E".
The 2E refers to a problem with the motor control board. It has sensed a fatal error. The corrective actions needed in this case is the motor control board to be replaced. Here is the replacement control board.

its in your main control board inside the unit,replace the board and this will resolve your error code,these boards have been a problem

I HAVE A MAYTAG NEPTUNE MAH6700AWW ITS GIVING ME THE 3E DISPLAY AND NOT WORKING

2e means u have abad motor

According to the trouble shooting manual that came with my Maytag MAH8700A, code 2E refers to "Voltage for motor control bus is under specified limit." It states that the action to be taken is to "replace motor control board."

The first time my E2 code came on the washer won't rinse or spin. I checked the drain pump to make sure it was working. (1) Take the back off and pull the two drain lines off pump. Be careful the line going to the drain has a backflow flap, make sure you don't tear it.

(2) On the other side where it drains from the washer to the pump is where I found a bobbie pin that had collected lint and was blocking the drain flow.

When it can't drain the E2 code comes on to let you know it won't rinse or spin.

Make sure to unplug machine before removing back,
