Check for the loose EHT line (along with the last anode cable),running between the EHT and the PCB of the CRT).It worked for the model 9999.

Possible there is a fault in soldering. Poor joints in the CRT base circuit of the CRT tube will result in poor connection after some use due to the fact the heating and cooling will detach off the leads. So use a good soldering iron to touch up all the points in your main board and the CRT board and it must work provided your tube is not faulty.
