Having a bit of trouble printing and need all the help I can get. I am getting the error message: "Your default printer does not support direct printing to a CD or DVD" Also, in the main print menu HP Photosmart Studio I am being told that "The selected printer does not support any borderless papers. If you print, the maximum printable area of the current paper size will be used." Both of these things (print on DVD, borderless paper printing) are functions/features of the C5280, and I have used both of these functions numerous times before. Why am I getting this error message and how do I fix it?

Hello oyam26,
For any paper mismatch issue, first thing you do is try to set the paper type to plain. This will fix the issue in most of the cases.

Hp4355 print catridge error

Each cartridge having printing life, as long as cartridge health condition is good it won't gives any trouble. Subjected series printer having mono & colour cartridges,1. Remove both cartridge from the printer 2. Switch on & wait till message appears for insert the cartridges..3. Insert mono(Black) cartridge, close the door & wait till message appears on screen. If message appears same as cartridge error mean that mono cartridge is faulty replace it, if message appears like insert another cartridge, it's confirmed that colour cartridge faulty.. Replace it..

I'm getting a "Mecha Trouble

checking the gear by taking off both side panels and the panel directly in front of the cutter helped me - in my case I received the error "mecha trouble cutter pos"

problem was, the cable that runs the cutter had fallen off of the pulleys and after a bit of fussing, I was able to get the cable back in place and a working printer.

  1. Unplug the power cord from the HP All-in-One.
  2. Wait for 20 seconds.

Printer does not print anything other than "test Sheet & Alignment sheet" When i try to print from a file, my brand new Lexmark printer generates only blank sheets. I've tried un-installing...

after consulting your manual and done as it says the problem is not solved then you should ask your vendor for help as your printer is on warranty

does it say an error after "unable to print",what lights? are all inks good?, is there any bits of torn paper inside where head and carriage side up and down?
