From where i can download sony vaio pcv-d11n sound card software... i need to install it because after installing windows xp i cant hear any sound..

Hi,

Sounds like loose connection on your monitor card, if installed seperately, otherwise the wrong drivers installed.

Boot up in safe mode and uninstall the monitor drivers. and try and boot again.

Pl check the whether all driver from OEM have been installed including MB and try to reinstall the driver it should work fine. or reinstall the SP2 for win XP. then install the OEM driver again, this should work, else there might be hardware problem.

You need to load the SATA Controller driver for the XP install to access the HDD.

The driver will need to be downloaded and extracted to a floppy diskette, then loaded during the XP install.

If your system doesn't have a floppy drive, you'll either need a USB floppy drive or create a slipstreamed XP CD with the driver added to the CD.

do u have the installed drivers?
if not, please check for them on the sony website.
