The Creative SBS 370 Works on 11.5V AC (IT IS NOT DC) 1600mA (Means 1.6 Ampere) and 18.4VA. So, the Power Adaptor which you connect to the power socket behind the woofer is an AC ADAPTOR and NOT A DC ACAPTOR.

Look at the label on the rear of the Creative SBS and make sure the 240v adapter you use matches what is stated there. eg. 9v d.c. 500ma
Provided the plug on the adapter fits in ok and the voltage is correct you must use an adapter with the minimum stated "ma" (milliamps). You can however use an adapter that has a greater "ma" capability....say up to 750ma, BUT you must not exceed the "v d.c." (DC voltage) rating.

Important also is to match the DC polarity of the adapter output to the Creative input socket polarity ie. (+ to +) and ( - to- )

As long as it is thesame with the specification of your old adapter. Better to check the voltage and the amperes of the adapter from old to new. Thanks. Hope it helps.

Input is 240V-50Hz 250mA Output 12V-2.9A. The current adaptor is listed as Inspire M5300. It is for a Creative Sound Blaster 5.1 speaker system

In electronics, don't believe, be sure. When it does not say AC, see what is next to it. The ~ sign means AC. The = sign means DC. I know lots of speaker systems use AC, but check the sign.

There is no power supply passing into the device. the green led is not at all lit. the volume controller does not show green light. i feel that the power supply is not getting into the device pls help

Get a multimeter and check its output voltage. it must give 11.5V AC as output. The current output in the multimeter must be 1.6 A .If it is not giving the output, your AC Adaptor has gone bad. there are 4 screws on the adaptor which you can open and inside you will find a single step down transformer. of rating 11.5V AC 111600mA(That is 1.6A) Aand 18.4VA rating. You can try to repair it at a transformer rewinding shop(IF HE DOES IT PROPERLY). or, try to get a new AC ADAPTOR OF THE SAME RATING.

My creative 2b2 2.1 370 power does not work, is there a way to check what the problem is < I have check it with a different adapter! is there way to open the subbox to check the power supply board?

You can check whether the AC power adaptor is giving output first. If it is not giving an output , then only do you have to open the subbox to check deeper into the subwoofer circuitry.

DVE AC ADAPTOR, model :NO.: DV-91A, INPUT :

You dont need an exact replacement for your router to work, just check on radio shack for generic adaptors with the same specifications, they would work fine, make sure voltage is the same as well as wattage...thats all that matters, and obviously input being 120vac, Hope this helps..

E-100 generic AC Adapter?

I doubt you can use 300 mA adapter, because Oly C2100 needs 2000 mA at 6,5V. E100RS construction seems to be very similar.
