Please check scart lead a rear of dvd player and also rear of tv make sure there pushed in firmly also try changing AV source from AV1 to AV2 or in some cases AV3

Was this unit recently installed. Has it played before. Be sure that the wire to the parking break is also connected. These dvd players will not play if the brown wire is not connected to the grond side of theparking break. If you need more info, please feel free to ask.
Make sure the the necessary input of the tv is select to be able to play the sound from your DVD. Also check to make sure you are pluging in the sound cords into the input sound of the tv and not the output. Make sure the source of the tv that you selected to play the DVD through has a sound jack associated with it.
Hi, Please check the video connections properly, if you are having any problem with the sound system you wont get even sound and hence please check the video connection wiring properly to resolve your issue.
You could try reset the player to the factory settings and see if that help. Press and hold the stop and play buttons down on the front of the player for 15 seconds then restart player. John
You have to convert your video to DVD format (MPEG-2 or VOB) at first, otherwise normal DVD player cant read and play your burned DVD. CANNONT RECIEVE SOUND FROM THE FRONT N REAR SPEAKERS WHEN PLAYING A CD/DVD. THE RADIO AUTOMATICALLY PLAYS THROUGHTOUT THE CAR. WHEN SRC DVD/CD IS SELECTED NO SOUND EMERGES. SO I PUT ON THE DUAL ZONE. AND THE ONLY WAY TO HAVE SOUND IS TO HAVE ONE ZONE TUNER, AND THE OTHER DVD. WHEN I REVERSE THEM OF COURSE THE SOUND WILL SHIFT EITHER FRONT OR BACK. IF U CAN HELP ME FIX THIS AND RECIEVE SOUND FROM ALL SPEAKERS WHILE CD/DVD anPLAYING I WILL APPRECIATE IT. THIS IS COUPLE MONTHS NEW. IT WORKED ONCE OR TWICE IDK HOW THOUGH. AND NOW I'VE TRIED IT ALL BUT STILL CANT FIGURE IT OUT. i went into the zone control and turn off the rear and i still have nothing. pleease help
If you are using just a "yellow" ended cable for the video, maybe your custom settings are set to use "component"? I have been using this same dvd player for a while with the component video out and it works fine. I hope this helps.
