I bought a dvd player Sony DVP FX-810 region code 4. Which is the method multiregion to turn it into multiregion?

I have a DVP FX-810 that is locked for region 4. I want to unlock it. I tried with this solution but it did not work:

I am not able to get the region by unlocking using hte code 2812.
I have purchased the player (DVP-FX810) fro USA.
