Why won't my iPhone 4 make any outgoing calls

There is not an SMTP outgoing server called 'apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com'. Try removing 'apple' from the beginning of the SMTP outgoing server name in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Yahoo Email Address > Click on email address. If that does help, re-add your Yahoo email to your iPhone and test the account again.

Check the microphone. Record your voice with the built in app. If it's recording just fine is most likely a software issue.

It depends on the capacoty of the perticular phone to keep the log of the out going calls like iphone keep the out going called numbers up to many months You can also ask your phone company to give you the details of the outgoing called numbers for the last six months or so

Try resetting your phone.But remember this will delete all data and third party applications on your phone restoring its original/factory settings.Here's a video on how to.

You Can't Use It Without A Sim Card. The Phone Goes Into A Safe Mode And You Can Only Use It For An Emergecy Call .
It Won't Let You Call Any Number Other Than 911 I Believe .
I Was Going Through Something And Tried To Call My Father,
And It Wouldn't Go Through.
Try Getting A Sim Card With A Plan Perrferably From AT&T
Or If You Know You Won't Be Able To Sell The Iphone And Buy An Ipod.
You Can Get Apps To Text For Free When You Have Wifi
Or To Actually Call .

there are alot of variables for bluetooth. Type of phone, phone service and provider etc... what type of phone are you using here is just one of the latest post from gm.

Subject: Intermittent Bluetooth Issues With Apple iPhone 4 Models: 2008-2011 All GM Passenger Car and Light Duty Trucks with RPO (UPF or UWE)

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:A customer may report of intermittent Bluetooth issues with their Apple iPhone 4.
Recommendation/Instructions:An issue with intermittent Bluetooth disconnects between the iPhone 4 and some GM vehicles has been identified. You may experience no audio in the vehicle for incoming and outgoing calls. When this occurs the Bluetooth system will say "Unable to place call on your Bluetooth phone". GM and Apple engineering groups are currently working on a resolution. The PI and GM Bluetooth website will be updated as soon as more information becomes available.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.

The iPhone has a couple of detectors to the left of the speaker on the front screen that are designed to detect if the phone is placed against the face. I guess that these are responsible for the problem.

Check to ensure that the top left of the facade is uncovered and clean. Please be aware that some iPhone cases (particularly those for the iphone v1) can interfere with these detectors.
