Are all the Lithium batteries working like this. Mine work for a short time then stop dead. Wait a while then they will work again. Really a pain when you are working trying to do somthing and have to run and change batteries again.Wish I had never bought this type and would like to get my money back and by the old style.

I use the Ryobi Li-Ion tools the L-I batteries will cut off when they get to a low charge level this is to protect the batteries Li-Ion batteries life span is shortened when fullt discharged so when the tool suddenly stops put the battery on charge, also if the battery has a charge indicator light for a more accurite idea of the charge (green is charged, red discharged) hold the test button on then run the tool the light may go from green to red if it does that shows the the charge is about depleted if the light stays green you have a little run time left.

My dyson DC 59 Motorhead works fine for a period of time then just quits. The run time seems unusually short and does not slowly lose power but stops abruptly. What is the problem?

Modern lithium Ion rechargeable batteries don't slow down as they discharge, they run full appliance and then just boom they are dead. You need a new battery

Nikon sb400 ready light never comes on nikon d7000

Tried out my sb400 with my d7000, no problem, even with fairly used batteries. Try new batteries again, see how you go. If you use lithium batteries, make sure they are good ones, as lithium batteries die suddenly when used up,and can make you believe there's a problem with your flash. If this doesn't work you may have to send it to a Nikon Service Center

I have a 18 v ni cad battery that is only 1 year old and won't accept a charge ,seldom used is there anything I can do to repair it ???????????? Rich

One or more of the 1.2 volt cells in the battery have probably shorted. There is a company that rebuilds these batteries with either new NiCads or Lithium cells. I have a Skill drill that the battery pack kept dying (NiCads). After the rebuild with lithium cells, the battery doesn't seem to self-discharge and it has much longer performance per charge. No change in the charger was necessary. Go to: www.primecell.com for information. Hope this helps!

I just experienced the same problem this week.  Don't waste the money on the battery as it did not help...still no lights.  I'm very disappointed as I'm, also, out of warranty and I really liked this clock.

My Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS problem is with the batteries. I'm using the Kodak Digital Batteries and they will only last about 30 minutes..even when I just use the viewfinder instead of the LCD. My son can...

I've had the exact same problem with mine. My wife was ready to buy a new one, but I didn't want to giveup the nice optical zoom on the Z712 IS. Checking out the web and a friend of ours with the same camera, it appears to be a common problem. My last time to try the camera, I took 19 pictures on brand new batteries and they died. The Kodak site doesn't really acknowledge a problem with the camera, but I found the latest firmware (1.06) and just walked around the house taking pictures with flash. At 25 pictures, I'm still going strong. Definitely worth a try to see if it fixes your problem: http://www.kodak.com/global/mul/service/downloads/DownloadFile.jhtml?locsvcsEntryPath=10807&product=EKN033025&operatingSystem=windows_xp&lang=en&type=firmware&downloadId=dln00179_file1&variant=false&pq-path=14091

Kodak EasyShare CX7530 digital problem

Mine did this until I folded up a small piece of paper to depress and hold the small lithium battery module detect switch inside the battery compartment, then it powered up fine for the first time in two years using NiMH batteries. After removing the paper (lithium detect OFF), it still works. Perhaps that recalibrated the low battery detect circuit?
