I need to buy a new casing for my SimpleTech SimpleDrive Pininfarina 320GB External USB 2.0 Hard Drive - Blue... where can I find one? I wasn't able to access my files, so I took it to Geeksquad and had my files transferred to another external... but was told that my Simpletech 320GB would still work if I A) installed it into my desktop or B) bought a new casing because the casing wasn't allowing the harddrive to work... so can anyone help me?

SOURCE: SimpleTech SimpleDrive Pininfarina 320GB Power up problem

It could be that it's internal power supply burnt out,
in which case the drive itself could still be fine.

Try opening up the external case, and removing the drive.
Once you do, plug it in to your computer directly using its SATA cables, and see if that works.

Hope I helped,
Tom

A website to download a new install disk ...

I believe the simpletech you have is a plug and play, you should not need a driver to access it.
