Guys, i got my toshiba lap top i had to put my laptop in my friends house so enterd a password quickly before leaving the next day , i try to enter the password and it doesn't work . i tried to fix it ...

If the password is a user or administrator password, reinstall the OS.
If the enter password request is displayed just after the system powers up, you must take the computer to a Toshiba Service Center to have the password erased.
For an HDD password, nothing doing. Get a new HDD or scour the Internet for some software that can retrieve the PWD.

Toshiba satellite L675D-S7049 bios password

RTM - Read The Manual

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Toshiba Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Look for Manuals and scan them for password.

If you choose to set a supervisor or user password, TOSHIBA
strongly recommends that you save your password in a location
where you can later access it should you not remember it.
TOSHIBA is not responsible for any losses that may occur to you, your
organization or others as a result of the inability to access your
computer.

To delete a supervisor password:
1 Click Start, All Programs, TOSHIBA, Utilities, and then
TOSHIBA Assist.
The TOSHIBA Assist window appears.
2 On the left side, click the Secure tab.
3 Click the Supervisor Password icon.
The Supervisor Password tab of the TOSHIBA Password
Utility window appears.
4 Click Not Registered.
A pop-up screen appears asking for a password.
5 Enter the password, then click OK.
6 Click OK to exit.
7 Restart the system to complete the process.

By your description the password is bios locked, the only solution is to check out Password Crackers Inc www.pwcrack.com I checked your model, there is a solution but it requires a USB Security Key which will cost you $99.50

My Toshiba Satellite Pro, when I turn my laptop the screen comes on with Password= I forgot my password, how do I reset it?

The first question is - did you create a password recovery disk? If not you will have to re-install the operating system.
Your BIOS default will be set to start up from teh DVD drvie - insert the recovery disk and it will re-install the operating system.

Horizontal white lines 27A43.

You have some bad capacitors. They are located very near and next to your vertical IC. I would guess you would have to replace maybe four of these! Thanks for asking!

I dont know which password you asking about but:

if the password is in setup utility of system then you have to reset the bios & if it is of windowsXP then press ALT+CTRL+DEL 2times then it will ask for username and password,
TYPE
username: administrator
password:

no password and press enter if the system still say wrong username & password then it means you have to format & reinstall it if you also forgot administrator password.
