Resetting password & user name on Windows:b>*Start your computer
*Keep pressing "F8" as the computer starts.
*This will enter the computer in Safe Mode.
*(When the window "Advanced Boot Options" opens, choose "SafeMode" with arrow key and confirmby pressing the Enter key, then computer enters Safe Mode.
*Once you are in the Safe mode Click "Administrator" on the Windowslogin screen.
*Take note that you have set the Administrator password before, you need toinput the changed password instead of leaving "Password" field blank.
*Then click Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Select the accountthat is locked and change the password.
**Restart computer and login into the account you just created using your newpassword.

Hi,

I'm reading that it has a windows operating system. In this case, I would open setting and search for the "factory reset" option within that folder. Otherwise, you can just use the general desktop search to search for the "factory reset" option and choose that and follow the instructions on screen to activate the factory reset. But I would ask that you back up any data first because all data on the device will be deleted.

Trying to download flash for the sylvania 7inch netbook. it uses windows [email protected]
You cannot use Flash as that program is for Windows Xp,or Win7, there is no port of it that will run on a CE machine. For that matter you nhave to usewhat was supplied with the machine untill the seller decides to upgrade and include other apps that are written specifically for Win CE.

Cannot get adobe for Sylvania 7'' netbook
No you cannot, as Adobe has not seen fit to develop a system to be added to CE. The Win CE system was really developed for embedded low memory systems such as telephones tablets etc. The Adobe products take a very large amount of memory and large fast processors, of which the 8505 found in most CE systems is not very fast, nor can handle any thing outside of it's embeded software. You have to stay with in the confines of what you have until some programmer decides to add a workable system to the CE system.

I would like to know if you can use MAGIC JACK with this netbook?
Is this the Win CE Netbook? If it is, the answer appears to be no. The 7" Win CE book apparently will not install 3rd party applications. It will accept a Wifi driver update I downloaded from digitalgadgets tech support though.
