Welcome to Fixya

Looks like the mechanism already failing. Try to troubleshoot it first by taking the battery out. Press and hold the power button for 15 secs then put everything back.

If same problem will occur then the problem is already the mechanism

Thanks

That could be the effect of the fall. Try to restore the camera back to factory default state. Most of the camera has restore to default functions. Just go to the settings then look for option that says factory default then use that option to restore the camera. Test the issue after restoration.

I would send it back to Kodak, thats why you are offered the extra warranty.

How can i use my kodak easyshare zd710 as a web cam?

You can't. The ZD710 is designed to store images and videos to memory, not to stream video live to another device.

Sorry that wasn't the answer you wanted to see, but there it is.

Kodack ZD710 not getting power?

So far you've done all the right things, please also try to upload new firmware: I doubt that it will solve the issue, but the alternative is a repair.

Connect the camera with the computer.
Turn the camera on.
Click onto the link and follow the instructions.

My Kodak camere was really not dropped. I put in new batteries and the camera only gives me one shot and I have to turn it off and try again. I can plug the camera into a charge cord and I can take all the pictures I want. Is it possible the 2 batteries are not enough to power the camera
