How do i transfer saved images from the PC back to the camera? I have loaded the pics onto my laptop and for some reason the pics have gone from the memory card. Can i get them back onto the camera??

If I were in your situation, I would stop trying to download to my computer. I would take the card to my nearest Walmart store and use one of their picture kiosk machines to either print all of the pics or even make a CD copy of them.

thats because there are no pictures to view, to check , protect 1 picture ,then d/load pics to pc , when you switch it back on there will be the 1 protected pic on screen hope this is clear .

You can use external usb card reader for transfer the pictur. the camera port not working for problen in the port. you can repair with by heelp of soldring the port.

It sounds like your images have been corrupted. It can happen sometimes during transferring from you camera and many other reasons. You may want to try getting a card reader to eliminate/reduce that problem.

There are Three primary ways to do this...

1. use a (usualy supplied) data cable... normaly a USB cable... it connects to your computer/laptop , Use a Photo utility program to "find" the camera. You should be able to view the pics stored in the camera.

2. If the camera pics are stored on a sim card then simply put that card in a multi card reader... (very inexpensive to purchase and standard on some late model PC's) and in most cases you can pull the pics directly from the card.

3. Take the camera directly to walmart or walgreen's photo station and they usualy can pull the pics directly from it.

I dont have a permanent fix for this but you can recover those precious pics.. When you can open it in photoshop just use file save as option to save them onto the computer.. Also when you are done with transferring all these pics then format the memory card(normal format not quick) then take some sample pcis and see if it skips again.. Postback so that we can followup on this..

Memory card is faulty or fake

This is no problem. Its work also in this condition bcz you import your image and in importing your all images in camera transfer to your pc, if you want to safe your images in your camera please use a card reader to copy your images in your pc. After that your all images also safe your camera.

You should be able to download the pictures if they are on the camera or memory card to your pc, just browse the folder in windows for the camera name and and the pics will be in that folder, because it is just another form of a media device.
