Are you sure you're typing all the letters correctly? Look closely at B and 8, G and 6, etc. Product keys do not contain 1, I, O, or 0.

Are you using the correct Windows 7 key? A key for XP or Vista will not work with Windows 7. A Home Premium key will not work with Ultimate, etc.

Note: Make sure you are not installing windows on more computers then allowed.

Ok when problems with activation Microsoft products you can call Microsoft in your country. They ask your code and you will get a working code. If the error is an windows installation fault you first need to reinstall your windows.

it may be registry corruption in your win 7, its wise to run reginout scan to fix this....
