I can't send SMS messages. Sometimes it works but most of the time my SMS going to the Draft FOlder and I receive an error message. As soon as the international roaming on my phone was activated, I could no longer send SMS. Now I'm back and roaming has been deactivated, but I still cannot SMS. Its probably your service provider that restricts that service to you. I have had instances where i can't send a message and i found out that i did not have that feature on my service plan. Otherwise you shouldn't have any problem sending and receiving messages. See if that helps.

To make draft messages on your phone..First go to message menu create message..Type message you want,after typing click OK button of yuor phone there are options that says save messages..To access that message ,go to the message menu choose draft or save message,select the message you want to send click OK and select edit then Click OK button of your phone select SEND then choose the number in your phonebook..Hope this helps..
I had the same problem and came to this site for help but the solutions didn't solve the problem of "cannot send text message" on htc touch hd. All service numbers correct. Went to START/SETTINGS/CONNECTIONS/ADVANCED NETWORK/SMS SERVICE then changed from "gprs" to "gprs preferred". Double checked and had reverted to "GSM" but sms now works - finally!!! Hope this helps.
Try the following steps. I fixed the same problem on my E71 with these.
1. move the sms which can not be sent into the draft box.
2. switch the phone to offline mode.
3. enter draft box, and send the sms
4. after the notification of "saving into sending box..", power off the phone.
5. turn on the phone again, select "no" for the question, then, wait several second, u can see the sms is sent.
Disable your internet connection. Start Outlook, Select all of the messages in your Draft box and drag them to the Delete folder.
Just curious, how did your get so many draft message in the draft box?
if you are unable to send text messages(sms) to anyone then there is a problem with the message centre no. refer your manual to fine the message centre no in your phone(probably in text message settings) and check if its compatible with the service provider.( call the customer care of service provider to get the message centre no) and enter it and save it. then you will able to send text messages.
