I have a JVC LT 26X575 that will not accept remote input for any function, but using the buttons on the TV allow the menu to be achieved and the sound to be raised or lowered. In TV mode it comes on on channel 2 and the channel cannot be changed so I can not get the cable input to work (needs channel 3). When feed from the cable box using 3 wire audio and picture cord, can get a wonderful picture on Video 1 channel, but remote still will not talk to the TV. Please help

Sounds like the remote batteries could be bad or the buttons on the remote need to be cleaned. some JVC TV remotes, I'm not familiar with this particular one though, can be cleaned using a clean pencil eraser. Be careful opening the remote because some parts can fall out or you can damage the connections to the LED emitter that sends the signal to the TV. Also the solder connections on that LED could be bad.

SOURCE: JVC LT 42x688 no picture just sound

Sorry, this has no easy fix. The good news is you do not need an LCD Panel. The bad news is the Video Processor has a problem.
This TV has x3 Boards. The one you should replace first is the one in the middle. If this doesn't fix it, try the one on the right. The Part #s are on the Boards if you wanna try ebay.

SOURCE: No Picture

I am deeply sorry but you will need to replace the backlight bulbs. These are not available.

Look on Ebay for a 32" JVC with a broken LCD Screen. Buy it and use these bulbs to fix your TV. I am sure there will be a few good ones in the broken TV. It's that or list it on Ebay for $50 and expect to get about 200-300.

LCD Panel repair for this problem is $500 for parts so you are stick with repair yourself or sell.

I have a jvc tv model no. Lt-26x575 with no remote. How do i scan for antenna tv

Without a remote control, you can't. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one.
To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the sites.

Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops. Visit some on-line sites too, which deals with electronic spare parts.

XCAN'T FIND THE BUTTON TO RUN CHANNEL AUTO SCAN

First make sure that the Source is set to TV and a good antenna/coaxial cable is connected to the TV. Use the Input button on the TV (to the left of the power button) or the Input Select button on the remote. Use the up/down arrow keys to navigate through the source list and press Enter to select that choice. (On the TV, the Input button is the Enter button.) Next press the Setup/TV Menu on the remote (or Menu on the right arrow button or Enter. Then go down to Auto Ch Memory and press the right arrow or Enter. With the up/down arrows, navigate to Signal Type and set that to Air (for OTA channels) or Cable with the left/right arrows. Now navigate to Automatic Search and press the right arrow or Enter. Wait for the scan to be completed.

I hope this helps. The steps are shown in the manual for the LT-19D610 on page 18. The manual is available from JVC on the product page: http://support.jvc.com/consumer/product.jsp?modelId=MODL028825 . The direct link to the manual is http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/01/47/J55D0221B.pdf .

On the right hand side of this television there are panel buttons. It appears that your son in law knocked the tv out of the correct input. Press the input button in order to cycle through the 5 inputs. Typically pressing the input button on the side panel of a television and pressing it again and again and again will make it change inputs. Universally the buttons on the tv panel function as follows: Channel up moves the cursor up. Channel down moves the cursor down. Volume + moves the cursor right. Volume - moves the cursor left.

JVC 40 inch LCD digital inputs (1 and 2) no longer works. Standard video and component cable inputs work, but not HDMI. Please help

This TV has a sensor that deactivates the inputs when light is sensed. perform this procedure to correct it:

1. press "Sleep" button on the remote
2. while "Sleep timer 0" is showing, simultanuously press "display" and "video" button on the remote
3. you should be in the Service menu of the TV....if not you should do the steps again
4. select "self check" from the displayed options.
5. when the "self check" menu is displayed, Power off the TV.
6. unplug and replug the TV.
7. Check the digital input.

if the input never worked for you, it is possible that you have the DVD/Bluray/whatever set up incorrectly. I don't think this TV accepts 1080P resolution so make sure it is set to 1080i or lower
